Canada’s wild parks and iconic landscapes inspire everything we do at Muskoka Roastery Coffee Co.—and we’re committed to helping protect them. That’s why this National Parks Day (Saturday, July 19), we’re proud to support the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS)—the only national charity dedicated solely to safeguarding Canada’s public lands and waters.

And for one day only, we’re inviting you to help us double the impact.

On National Parks Day only, we’ll be matching every donation made to CPAWS—dollar for dollar—up to $5,000.

That means:
if you give $25, CPAWS receives $50.
Give $100? They receive $200.
Your support will go twice as far in protecting Canada’s parks and wild spaces.

Why This Matters

Canada has committed to protecting 30% of its land and ocean by 2030—a bold goal in line with international efforts to fight climate change and biodiversity loss. But reaching that target takes more than pledges. It takes organizations like CPAWS—and people like you.

CPAWS is a leading voice in Canada’s path to 30x30, actively working to expand and strengthen the network of protected areas across the country. In fact, CPAWS was instrumental in securing federal support for the 30x30 target and continues to push for ambitious, science-based conservation—on land and at sea.

Their work has contributed to landmark protections like:

• Thaidene Nëné National Park Reserve in the Northwest Territories—one of the largest protected areas in Canada, co-managed with Indigenous governments and protecting over 26,000 square kilometres of boreal forest, tundra, and freshwater.

• Tallurutiup Imanga National Marine Conservation Area in Nunavut—safeguarding rich Arctic marine ecosystems and supporting Inuit-led stewardship across more than 100,000 square kilometres.
• Conservation efforts in the Dumoine, Noire, and Coulonge watersheds in Québec—preserving intact forest corridors and promoting nature-based recreation. For over 60 years, CPAWS has been the only national charity dedicated solely to protecting Canada’s public lands and waters. From national parks to boreal wilderness to marine ecosystems, they advocate for long-term protection, responsible management, and Indigenous-led conservation.
