Treat dad to a bold drink that wakes up his taste buds! The Dad's Espresso Old Fashioned combines the complex notes of Muskoka Roastery Espresso with the honeyed strength of Canadian Rye. Maple syrup balances the bitter notes and amps up the Unmistakably Canadian flavours.

1.5 oz Muskoka Roastery Espresso (Chilled)
1.5 oz Canadian Rye of Your Choice
1 oz Maple Syrup
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
Orange Peel Twist 

Recipe:

1. Pour the espresso, rye and maple syrup into a cocktail shaker over ice. 
2. Stir the cocktail with a bar spoon to mix all the ingredients. Make sure the maple syrup is thoroughly mixed in.
3. Add four dashes of Angostura Bitters and stir once more.
4. Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass over one large ice cube.
5. Express the orange peel over the cocktail and wipe the rim with the peel before dropping it into the Espresso Old Fashioned.
