For the past decade, the Muskoka Roastery has directed at least 1% of annual sales back into community and environmental protection programs, right here in Canada. We call it our Sustain initiative.  

These investments are on top of our commitments to source 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee or 100% green energy through Bullfrog Power or the costs associated with being a certified B Corporation.  

You can read more about some of the organizations and causes we support here. One of those organizations is Food Banks Canada who receive regular shipments of our roasted coffee to use in their shelters and hamper programs. At a time when Food Banks Canada, and similar charities, are faced with record demand for their services, we at the Muskoka Roastery are delighted to help. 

In order to eliminate any, and all, confusion, let’s be clear about why we are in a position to pursue our 1% to Sustain program. It’s because of you. Full stop. Your support of our company and involvement in our community, is the enabling force that allows the Muskoka Roastery to fund our Sustain programs.
