One question we get with some regularity is, "how come your coffee tastes so much better than what I have been drinking?" There are many details that combine to deliver handcrafted Muskoka Roastery quality, but if we had to pick just one, it would be how we showcase the quality of the beans we source from 8 different countries around the world.
Our unique coffees are blends of up to 3 different origins. Each individual origin would make a very nice cup of coffee - a 100% Colombian or a 100% Kenyan or 100% Sumatran. You can certainly find these coffees on the market.
What makes our coffees so different is the fact that we use these expensive single origins to create Muskoka Roastery blends. An expensive origin like Ethiopia? In our blends. Expensive Kenya or Sumatran? In our blends. Most other coffee roasters use cheap origins to add in to keep costs down. Not us. Our 'blending' origins are specialty grade coffees like Costa Rica or Colombia.
Each one of our 12 origins costs a lot more to source, but your feedback, which is certainly appreciated, tells us that you notice the difference!
