Whipped Honey Iced Coffee
Perfect for hot spring or summer days when your iced coffee could use a little upgrade... and you could use a little treat.
To recreate this unique summer treat, you’ll need:
- A Hand or Stand Mixer
- 2 Oz Espresso or Strongly Brewed Coffee (We Used Lumberjack)
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- 1/2 Cup Cold Milk (Any kind)
Recipe:
1. In a bowl, combine hot espresso or coffee with honey and whip together using a hand mixer or stand mixer. When fully whipped, the mixture should have a meringue-like texture and form soft peaks. In our experience, this takes about 5-8 minutes. Ensure that you fully coat your kitchen in the mixture like we did.
2. Pour your cold milk into a tall glass or mug filled with a few ice cubes. We recommend using a transparent glass so you can enjoy the beautiful layers of this drink!
3. Now it’s time to add the whipped coffee mixture. Carefully spoon it into your glass so that it sits on top of the milk, allowing you to create your desired coffee-to-milk ratio. Measure with your heart on this one.
